January 1977
1977 THE BORN OF CSI
With the aim of having an higher quality, especially as regards the assembly phase, ZADI constitutes CSI Srl, a small, but highly qualified company, dedicated to the design and construction of industrial automation.

1980 INTERNATIONALIZATION AND EUROPEAN LEADERSHIP
CSI began working with the Group YAMAHA and more specifically with its French localization, YAMAHA-MBK, which will see ZADI present with its kit of locks for the model BOOSTER, the most successful scooter of that era. The Company launched a major challenge: to become number one in Europe in the field of safety components for motorcycles by 1990.

1990 INNOVATION AND DIVERSIFICATION
In order to meet this growing competition arising from asian producers, Zadi policy IS ORIENTATED TOWARDS TWO KEY LEVERS: research and development and product diversification. Of these years are the acquisition of German competitor GKS NEIMAN, and GIUSSANI BROTHERS an historical company in the lock industry.

2001 FROM THE SUPPLY OF PRODUCTS TO THE OFFER OF A COMPLETE SYSTEM
The Group continues to grow with the acquisition of a company that, in a hundred years, has covered the history of the motorcycle: FRATELLI PAGANI of Milan, a manufacturer of lighting equipment and instrumentation under the brand CEV.

2013 THE RE-LAUNCH
After going through a period of difficulties linked to the crisis in international markets, finally in 2013 Zadi joined the HB4 Group, an emerging Italian industrial group, modern and dynamic.

2014 ECIE LTD. AND ITS CHINESE SUBSIDIARY ECIE CHENGDU
ECIE LTD (in Lainate) and its chinese subsidiary ECIE CHENGDU become part of the group. They are specializing in the production of headlights and dashboards for the motorcycles, cars and agricultural machinery sectors.
From this moment begins the period of synergies between the group’s companies, that have being operating in different markets.
2014 CEV LAB, GROUP COMPANY DEDICATED TO R&D
Result of this policy is the creation of industrial crossover CEV lab, group company dedicated to R&D and testing for all companies in the group.
